PCDMN Phase 1 2018-2023 Funders

Please note the PCDMN Blog is no longer active and has been transitioned to our new PCDMN website

Please now refer to our new PCDMN website for timely field crop disease updates and associated information

Starting in 2018 the Prairie Crop Disease Monitoring Network (PCDMN) was established with generous funding as part of the Canadian Agricultural Partnership Integrated Crop Agronomy Cluster from 2018-2023.

From 2018-2023 PCDMN project collaborators:

1) Established a foundation for the PCDMN;

2) Introduced the network to a range of stakeholders at various events;

3) Engaged in a variety of activities and technology transfer to provide farmers and other stakeholders with tools to assess risk (e.g. wind trajectory/cereal rust updates) and recommended approaches to assess mid-season and end-of-season disease assessments; and

4) Provided guidance in relation to disease identification and risk assessments, as well as key recommended disease management strategies.

The generous funding from the Canadian Agricultural Partnership Integrated Crop Agronomy Cluster including the Western Grains Research Foundation and participating producer group partners is graciously acknowledged.  Without this strategic support the PCDMN would have not been possible.
